Our Mission
To welcome immigrants of all nationalities and assist them in becoming healthy, productive members of our community.
About Us
Since 1987, Southeast Asian Christian Ministry (SEACM) has been a ministry extension of numerous local churches that offers hospitality and loving support to immigrant neighbors on their path to stability and belonging.
SEACM supports the immigrant population in Northern California by providing high-quality, free immigration legal services and connections to local community resources. These services offer an affordable way for local foreign-born non-US citizens to comply with immigration law and contribute to the ability of individuals to provide for themselves and their families—honoring the inherent dignity and value of all people.

Testimonials
“SEACM helped us to understand what was needed to allow me to legally and permanently stay in the USA. They helped us get legally married and put us in touch with an immigration attorney in Sacramento who has been very helpful. It has been a long process, over three years now.”
- Kenneth, canada
“I never was allowed to go to school in my native country; my father said we should work. I came to the USA with a green card and I work long days and take care of my family, but there is little opportunity for me to learn enough English to pass the citizenship test. I am so grateful that, instead, I can renew my green card every 10 years with SEACM’s help.”
